Cleaning news section of Quine.

Today I decided to stop for a while and read the news posted in my Quine5000.

I have news and tips from as far back as 2671.011.18, which is the same ingame day I started playing. Currently, my date is 2671.29.22.

I think that Quine should delete news posts older than a week or so.

It would be nice for the Quine to remove old new items, but maybe they should be left for more like two in-game weeks.

I think is would be very nice if the old outdated news were in a different color, like red, or any other color that sets them apart from the active ones.

Different colors are going to be used for messages related to factions controlling systems, IIRC.

I'd also like to be able to log favorite missions. I had a completed mission on a hunt-cap-ship, which I'd like to enshrine somewhere so I can take it off my mission list :)

That, and would be nice to get on-foot kills, and maybe even break down ship kills by type, so you can proudly point to the cap ships...

It would be cool if the Quine 5000 had some of the "personal" functionality like that. It would be nice if it had more "personal" stuff than it does now.

Right. Quine needs "new" outlook and better stats (as it was mentioned).

First of all Quine 5000 should be an upgrade that completely removes "old 4000+". Any other options (like better stats or maybe hacking ability) should be payable updates.

I propose to make some improvement for Quine's interface. It'll be good to better manage with keyboard only using "Tab, Home, PgUp, PgDn, End" and arrow keys. Right now we can move pointer only.

Cool idea, GLI. I find myself using the keyboard whenever possible(except to move the pointer).
